found a company that rents awesome lounge furniture, and tables and chairs.
to fill the empty urban chic warehouse of my imagination of course.

www.luxerentals.ca

just found a similar venue, in a commercial highrise, called le parquet.

I WANT THIS VENUE !!!

RAW, SIMPLE & CHIC

"The Espace Réunion building was acquired by IDX Design in 2008 with the mission of developing a stylish and functional large-scale event venue in the up-and-coming area of Montreal, where Mile-End meets Outremont, Rosemont and Park-Extension.

Built in the 1930's, the building served as a flourmill for Robin Hood Flours for more than half a decade. Conceived by a team of visionary designers, Espace Reunion took care to preserve the original industrial architectural touches of the building while injecting a dose of purist chic and functionality essential to the spaces' new vocation."

exactly what i've been endlessly searching for.

Ohhh Mmmm Geee !!

i found a venue, if i can afford it. it's exactly what i'm looking for.

so in shock, happy.

post pictures later :)

um i adore zoey deschanel !

and i love the hair, usually not so hot for updo's

saw this in a mag, don't know what kind of flower this is but it's too pretty.

and they improve your memory-- awesome.

cake ! pie !

love the dirty icing on this cake !

something you should know : i like textures !
(in everything)

i'm not sure id have a wedding cake though, i'd consider cupcakes (so over done though) or better yet ten different pies from ROCKABERRY's would probably be CHEAPER and YUMMY !

think about it, look at all these amazing pies :

Rockaberry Special
Rockabrownie
Truffle
Chocolate Fantasy
Chocolate Banana Split
Millefeuille
Lemon Meringue
Keylime
Boston cream
Cheese pie
Chocolate Cheese
Oreo Cheese
Caramel Fudge Cheese
Apple Crumb
Blueberry Crumb
Veryberry Crumb
Strawberry & Peach Crumb
Raspberry Crumb
Apple
Pecan
Toblerone Cheese
Strawberry Shortcake

it definitely tops your usual cake, and suits everyone's tastes !

ALL THINGS NICOLE MILLER

so my taste in wedding dresses can be summed up by the nicole miller collection in general. especially this dress.

J. Crew rocks my world :)

i love this dress, it just seems so comfortable and cutesy. i love the clean lines.

i definitely hate the traditional beading and poofy and corset uglyness. loving this dress makes me think i need that destination wedding with my feet in the sand :)

ohh and for record sake,retails @ 1500$

looking for center pieces and i came across these planters on etsy !

love love love all INDUSTRIAL textures.

shipping would be a b&%$tch :P
but i wonder if i could make these lovelies myself?..

dreamer !

the smaller the venue the better, less to decorate.

FLOWERS

most likely no one will ever read this, so i'm just gonna save paper and ink ( eco-friendly :) and make this an online scrapbook of everything i want this wedding to be. and as ideas come along i'll conserve them on here for easy review. heck if anyone offers to help down the line i'll refer them to this, and they'll be on the same page instantly !

so tonight i was thinking flower bouquet , and i think i know what i like:

  1. tight,rounded shape; formal
  2. most likely white but would consider some pale colors
  3. some pale green leaves to add a bit of contrast, LOVE pale greenery!
  4. would like it to be tied with either ribbon or a nice rustic yarn/rope

(the one that i find PERFECT !)

Hello there ,

so its officially 2:26 am and i'm starting a blog.. what lead to this?, well a really bad case of insomnia and the fact that jonny really wants a wedding. see my boyfriend wants a wedding, for the sake of family and friends and to celebrate our love to the world (i'm lucky to have a man sensitive like that :). i think its alot of money (and stress) for just one day. subconsciously i like wedding dress shopping, okay i'm well aware, and what girl doesn't?! anyways so we've been engaged a month. which leads to questions about when's the wedding?!?!? and to confirm that: you need a venue(or start with something concrete), to book that you need a budget, and to do that well you need a small FORTUNE ! seems anything "wedding" is expensive. i love small details but every small detail costs a dollar and each dollar times each guest adds up.

there are some things you should know about me. as i mentioned i'm addicted to wedding dress shopping and subsequently the show "say yes to the dress". at the start of my general shopping or more like browsing i was so excited, but now the whole day got me sticker shocked and i'd rather just elope.. i joke about it all the time, just not with the future in-law cause you should see their face.. eek. so my enthusiasm kinda dwindled as of late, stalled. and i just kept dress shopping on the internet. tonight i started reading some wedding blogs, and felt kinda inspired to start my own, whats one more in the world of cyberspace? if anything it'll be a way for me to keep track of all the great ideas i come across and keep me MOTIVATED.

i love jonny, and an awesome wedding would definitely prove that.

there's a few obstacles i'll have to overcome though.. one is definitely the budget and two is definitely the fact that like every other girl out there i want THE perfect day( i can hope for the best, cant i?). i'm an all or nothing girl. to spend a ton of money only to have a mediocre wedding, well i don't wanna say i'd rather have none, but do you get what i mean?

there are so many awesome ideas out there though, thats for sure.
i'm thinking i could write a whole twenty five entries tonight. but i gottta leave some topics for tomorrow. i hope i stick to this blog thing : )
